Joyride Laboratories GbR ("Joyride Labs") operates the website and services for downloading purchased game content ("Story Server"), accessible through the "Nikki and the Robots" game client. It is Joyride Labs’ policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites and services.

Website Visitors and Story Server Users

Joyride Labs collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Joyride Labs' purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Joyride Labs' visitors use its website. From time to time, Joyride Labs may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Joyride Labs also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for visitors and users. Joyride Labs only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Joyride Labs’ websites choose to interact with Joyride Labs in ways that require Joyride Labs to gather personally-identifying information. We ask visitors who make purchases at our website to provide an email address. We also collect payment information from PayPal, for example address and country. Joyride Labs collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Joyride Labs. Joyride Labs does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain service-related activities.


We ask visitors who make purchases at our website to provide an attribution name. By default, this attribution name is set to "Anonymous". Joyride Labs may display this attribution name together with the payed amount publicly or provide it to others.

Aggregated Statistics

Joyride Labs may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites and users of its services. For instance, Joyride Labs may collect the name of operating systems used by visitors. Joyride Labs may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Joyride Labs does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
